The Ivy House has an active programme of events such as :Late Bars at the weekends
DJs at the weekends
Football on at the weekends and during the week
Rugby, the big matches, Heineken Cup, Celtic League 6 Nations etc
Food Served 7 days a week to 12:00pm to 10:00pm


It offers two bars, The IVY House, modern and open, yet warm, with the beer garden at the rear and Patrick Carthy & Sons, traditional and warm, via the laneway on the right hand side.
Both bars offer a variety of sumptuous wines by the glass, cocktails, whiskeys & scotches, along with a wide range of world beers.

Our food offering is home cooked, kept simple and seems to appeal to most tastes. We cater for all sizes of parties, large or small, especially for those events in which an atmosphere is welcome.

We offer a variety of menus; Finger Food Menus, Party Menus for groups, Buffets and a la carte, suitable for all types of celebrations, outings, family gatherings, office parties etc. If you have any queries please call or email us and we shall forward you our menu pack and details. The Ivy House has an active programme of events such as late bars Friday’s & Saturday’s, chilled out DJs at the weekends, art shows, out door theatre during the summer months and all sporting.
Patrick Carthy’s & Son’s shows all sporting events, play’s no music, just a place with a real fire that’s serves pints and lifts spirits, we hope!.



The Littlest Theatre Company – Free shows are held mainly during the summer months in our Beer Garden, keep a look out of show listing.

Art Exhibitions - throughout the year exhibitions of up and coming artists are held and all art is for sale and purchases can be arranged via The Ivy House or the artist directly, again keep a look out for up and coming shows.
