When using the
Search Engine, you can search by
Pub Name - example 'White Horse'
County - example 'Dublin'
Town - example 'Lucan'
Street - example 'Benburb'
or general area - example 'Temple Bar'
You can enter a part of a name if you are unsure for example, entering 'Bally'
will return all entries in the database containing the word Bally.
If you can, try to be specific - searching for 'Dublin' will return every pub in
Dublin - this will slow the search down.
There are over 1000 pubs or bars listed on the site, so to speed up your
searching, try to be as specific as you can.
Most pubs are listed by their proper names, so if you are searching for a pub
you know locally as 'Murphys', try searching by the trading name - such as
'White Horse'.
If you find that the pub you are looking for is not listed, let us know and we
will be only too glad to add it to our database.
